With the weather looking perfect there was only one thing to do and that was to going fishing for the night. There was a strong S/W blowing, with a few showers passing through over night.
I set my self up in one of the lesser fished swims, as an interception route for the carp moving to their favourite corner (when there is a strong wind blowing). I spombed out a kilo of Catalyst boilies, flicked a pop and a wafter out. I then settled down for a wet and blowy night.
I heard a couple of fish in the night, but only managed a low double. There where a few showing as I was packing up, which can be a bit frustrating. But knowledge was gained, that I was in the right area and may be next time, the bigger fish will be along.
Until next time
