A lovely old common known as ‘Cut Tail’ for Lewis Richards, visiting his target water just before the lockdown, he had been prebaiting a marginal spot with Smokey Jack and he could see that it had been fed on in his absence.
It took him only 10 minutes to get the bite once he had lowered the rig into the low stock pit and before long one of his target fish was nestled in his net.
Great angling!

We’ve heard some crazy carp names over the years… But what is the WORST one you have ever heard and where was it from?

Garry Fentiman spent a weekend at Jurassica Lakes France, just before lock down and managed two fish topped off with this chunky common just under 40lb!
Both caught on 12mm Classic Corn fished over chopped and crumbed boilies soaked in Cloudburst.

It didn’t take James Channell long to get off the mark post lock down, this 30lb common falling to a 12mm Classic Corn pop-up presented on a size 6 TURNING POINT Long Shank Curved.
What a start! Who else has managed to bank one?

An absolutely classic common on the Classic Corn for Alan Day!
A 15mm Classic Corn bottom bait presented over a kilo of glugged up freebies tempted this epic looking common along with two others.

Scott Grogan got off to the perfect start on his new syndicate water, after spotting some fish near the old boat house, he wasted no time in getting a Classic Corn Pop-Up positioned along with a few crushed boilies to complete the trap. Within ten minutes the rod was away with this awesome looking 29lber. What a start!

A combination of Catalyst and Smokey Jack came good for Justin Grassi whilst fishing Kingfisher at the famous Bluebell Lakes complex. The prize being this epic 40lb 11oz common… What. A. Fish!

A Classic Corn Pop-Up over the top of particle mix glugged in Tiger Nut Cloud Burst tempted this absolute stunning carp for Craig Lane. A fish known as ‘Apples Linear’ and unsurprisingly it was one of Craigs target fish from his syndicate water.

14 year old, Daniel Ruddick recently smashed his PB with this stunning 33lb 10oz common known as Brodie’s Mate.
The take came as he was packing up from a mammoth 11 night session, making the most of the lifting in angling restrictions. A long term Spotted Fin user, Daniel caught his new PB on the ever faithful Catalyst!
