It feels like Spring has gone and Winter has returned. There’s a cold NNE wind blowing and you can certainly feel the chill in the wind.
With that in mind, I have even picked the bank on the back of the wind and dropped both rod’s in the margins – with a few handfuls of Catalyst pellets and corn. I had a FW sweetcorn 12mm pop up on one rod and a catalyst wafter on the other with some quick break down paste, molded round it. Hopefully, the rain will stop and the sun may poke it’s head out of the clouds and warm this bank. This should induce some feeding.
With only an hour to go, the righthand rod was off. Unfortunately, only a very small Carp but a blank saver and with the weather as it was, I was very happy.
Until next time
