Carp Fishing Trip 15 (2013)

Well, here we are again, out fishing and am I going to be lucky.  Let’s hope so, as I have the lake to myself again and the wind is blowing nicely on to the reeds.

And the sun as been out warming up the water.

Rod-1 is 1 ft off the reeds with a nice oily stick bag, on a snowman rig.

Rod 2 is in a gap between the lily pads, on the far bank.  Which will intercept any carp moving along that bank.

I have positioned by brolly and bed chair close to my rod’s, as I don’t wish to lose the fish in the reeds.

With another night over and no fish it’s off to do another days work in the office.

Till next time

Trip 14 carp fishing (2013)

I am back out again, this time on a Saturday night.  The weather is windy and rainy, it was worth a look.  I am hoping the lake is empty.  I got there by 1pm and there was only 2 others on the lake and both up the reeds, which did look good (for them). Lets hope it stays like it.
I picked on a nice swim with a nice spot in the margin that I had put the odd handful of boilies under in my lunch time walks.

The other rod was placed in the middle of the lake towards the reeds at the bottom of the shelf in the silt.

I hope my luck in this time, as this year is turning in to a bit of a struggle to catch Mr Carp.

                                   Morning The Sun Is Up

Well its 8pm and I am the only one on the lake, the 2 anglers up the reeds have gone home.  Not bad for a Saturday night, a lake to myself.

With no joy in the night, I was hoping for an early morning take, but by 9am my hopes were fading.  I had to be home by 11am.

That’s all For now
