I had to go fishing, as the conditions looked so good, there was a big storm pushing through on Friday/Saturday.

By noon time on Saturday I was set up as there was a break in the rain, it was perfect timing. Unfortunately, the two area’s that I had an eye on, after seeing Carp this week, one was taken and the other one was impossible to set up on in this wind, there was no shelter.
I had to tuck myself up the path a bit, as the swim was under water and would need my waders.
The rod tips are just over the end of the swim.
Both rod’s are in the margins, as the fish I have seen this week have been moving along this bank and hopefully this far down.
Bait wise, all I have done is two large bags filled with stick mix and pellets with some broken boilies and a good load of liquid bloodworm. Both rod’s are on Poloni pop up 14 & 18mm with half a kilo of chopped Poloni boilies over each area.
With a extremely wet and wind night, with only a Bream to show for my efforts. It was quite nice to have some sunshine this morning to wake up to.
With only a couple of hours to go, I was still feeling confident that the Carp would move along this margin. I just hoped it would be before packing up time.
Unfortunately one Bream was my lot.
Until next time
Richard
