With the temperatures finally dropping to something a bit more acceptable for me, along with a lovely wind pushing across the lake, my swim choice could be based more on where I’d seen carp showing over the last few weeks, rather than simply chasing the shade.

It’s amazing how much the water level has dropped in just the last week. I’ve pitched up with the wind in my face after seeing a couple of nice carp show out in front of me.

The traps are now set, so all that’s left to do is sit back, enjoy the next few nights, and hope they bring something a little bit special.
