The first job, once my harder hookers arrive, will be to get them straight into a pot of Hookbait Complex and leave them to soak for a good few weeks—or longer if I can. This not only toughens them up nicely but also gives them that deep, rich coating of attraction I like around the hookbait. By the time I’m ready to use them, they’ll be fully infused and ready to release a steady stream of flavour and oils into the swim.
