I’m not one for using hookbaits straight out the pot, simply because a high percentage of anglers do this and I would like an extra edge over others. It also helps getting your hookbait to stand out from your freebies on the lakebed.

Top Tip

I like to use the Super Sweet bait spray. I believe only a few anglers do. You only need a tiny bit in a pot of hookbaits. Shake it around and leave it to take it on board over the liquid over the coming days months.
