September and October have certainly been kind to me. I can’t quite believe what I’ve active. Some my be duplicate photographs.
It’s certainly me a busy 2 months. In fact, this year had been far my best, considering I had tooth issues at the beginning and then a heart attack, I’m simply gob-smacked by my results.

If you want your wafters to absorb liquid flavourings or boosters quickly, this tool is ideal.
Just place your hookbait and liquid into the container, use the pump to remove all the air, and watch as they soak up the liquid much faster than they would naturally.
The exact time will vary depending on how absorbent your hookbait is, but this process is significantly faster than the traditional method.
The pump is also quite affordable, which is a bonus these days. Don’t be swayed by more expensive brands – this one works just as well. A good friend introduced me to this method a few years ago, and he’s thoroughly tested it.

Quick review – The Shimano Spod Spool
After doing a tackle review last month, it got me thinking on what else I’d purchased this year which had made a difference to my fishing. The Shimano Spod Spool was another great purchase. The best thing is it had 3 line clips, nicely marked 1, 2, 3 and as I generally fish the same swims about my syndicate water, I can leave the long range clips in place until my next session and change if I switch over to a closer range swim.
