My wife always laughs at when I say I am doing quick nighter. I try and explain that a quick night is from 1830 to 0630 the following morning. This is an overnight fishing trip. These trips are gone to quickly as there is not much time to do a lot. Whereas ‘an overnighter’ would be from noon one day until noon time the next day, this is a lot more relaxed and not that quick. My wife is very understanding of my obsession with fish and as long as I am home more night in the week than I am out, all will be well. She just finds my terminology funny!
