Stick Blend

What’s your go to stick mix blend

We have so many products that are successfully used in the make up of stick and bag mixes.

First up our Active Bag Mixes, as the name suggests these react when submerged in water, pluming up in to the water column and slowly sinking again. Loaded with ingredients and attractors that match each boilie range perfectly.

Pellets: our pellets range come in 3 sizes being 2mm, 4mm and 8mm. Both the 2mm and 4mm are perfect for using on their own or adding to our Active Bag Mixes for even more attraction. Each in our pellet range is loaded with the attractor package to match each boilie range perfectly.

Boilie Crumb, big favourite of many. Either used by itself or mixed with our Active Bag Mixes and pellets.

Last but not least is our boilie Bites, these have been a massive success and huge favourite already for adding to bag mixes, using on their own or as loose feed. Each in the range is manufactured with the same boilie mix and liquid package as the matching boilie ranges and steamed to give you the ultimate edge.

Let us know your favourite combination in the comments and if you believe something is missing from our line up, let us know 👍

Betaine HCI

Betaine HCI

Our hugely popular Betaine HCI is a naturally occurring substance that is present in minute quantities in plants, yeasts, fungi, and the flesh of fish, crustaceans and molluscs.

Unsurprisingly it is commonly included in the production of many commercial fish feeds. It is closely related to the amino acid. Betaine is rated incredibly highly by experienced bait users, in fact one very well-known carp angler was once quoted as saying that he would rather go fishing without his trousers than without a few grams of these magical white granules in his bait.

Our Betaine has been sourced from the human food industry and is of the highest quality available, with many versions on the market that are rendered useless by being cut with citric acid. Be careful what you are purchasing.

All that’s needed is 2-6g Beatine HCI per 500g of base mix which adds significantly to the inbuilt attraction qualities of any bait.

Available in 50g pots complete with a measuring spoon to enable accurate inclusion levels.

Tip from the Team: Little edge used several of our team. Dissolve a tea spoon full of Beatine HCI in to 50ml warm water. Then add to an empty spray bottle, shake well and simply spray your chosen hook baits and leave to dry. The finished result being an instant feeding trigger when cast out!

Hemp Oil

Total Hemp Oil

This winterised bulk food oil has been a massive favourite for well over 30 years. We source only the highest quality available which is essential as anything less than the best is a complete waste of time using.

Mega Mesh Bags

This is a more substantial PVA approach — built for attraction, not just presentation.

The Castaway PVA Catfish Mesh (60mm, 7m) is designed for larger, heavier parcels, and you can see that in the size of these two finished mesh bags. They’re densely packed with chunky bait — like boilie pieces, pellets, or a coarse mix — compressed into tight, flat discs rather than elongated sticks. That shape is deliberate.

A large PVA parcel offers several advantages:

1. Concentrated food signal
With larger mesh like this, you can introduce a serious mouthful of feed around the hookbait. It creates an immediate dinner-plate-sized feeding zone rather than a light scattering.

2. Heavier casting weight
These parcels add mass to the rig, aiding casting distance and improving drop accuracy — particularly useful when fishing open water spots.

3. Controlled breakdown
Thicker catfish-grade mesh handles oil-rich or damp mixes well. Once submerged, it melts cleanly and leaves a tight pile rather than dispersing bait over too wide an area.

4. Ideal for bigger fish tactics
This sort of parcel suits situations where you’re targeting better fish and want to avoid nuisance bites. A larger food source often attracts confident, dominant carp that are willing to commit.

Compared to smaller, cable-tied PVA nuggets or sticks, this is a more assertive tactic. It’s not subtle — it’s designed to create impact. Perfect for situations where fish are actively feeding, pre-baited spots, or when you need to draw fish down quickly onto a known clear area.

It’s a good example of matching presentation size to feeding behaviour. When the fish are on it, give them something worth stopping for.

Hope this helps
