Deeper Sonar Announcement

We’re thrilled to announce some incredible news! 🎉

The Fish Deeper app has received a major upgrade to version 2.0, launching Monday November 17.

Get ready to update your app and spread the word – the new map design will be the first thing you notice, but it’s only the beginning of what’s coming!

So, what’s new?

🔘 Fresh, brand new map look
🔘 4x faster map loading
🔘 Your personal depth maps now appear directly on the main map for seamless viewing
🔘 Your personal depth maps and all Premium fishing maps reveal underwater structure in stunning detail, no matter how far you zoom out
🔘 Offline maps can now be downloaded for a specific territory – to save space on your device

(Note: once you update your Fish Deeper, you’ll need to download the territories anew, old maps will not appear as before)

We’ve made a big leap – from version 1.47 to 2.0 – bringing major upgrades across the board.

The highlight: your personal depth maps and Premium 2D Maps are now sharper and more detailed than ever, revealing a richer, more precise underwater view.

The update is rolling out now – iOS 2.0.0 is live (with 2.0.1 coming soon for faster personal depth maps loading), and Android 2.0.0 is going live gradually, so you should be able to update your app in the upcoming days! (Plus, you’ll also see Scan Marks on Android, showing exactly where sonar scans were made, which has already been available in iOS.)

🌐 We’ve upgraded our basemap, so it means:

🔘 Better stability and reliability worldwide
🔘 Faster map loading and smoother performance
🔘 Improved experience that’s more responsive and consistent across all devices
🔘 Future-ready: this change paves the way for further developments and new map layers – TBA soon! 🤫

We can’t wait for you to try out the latest version!

Pricing: Right now, the yearly Premium subscription is still only 24.99 EUR! That’s less than a coffee per month! The prices will go up very soon, so invite your fellow anglers to use this incredible opportunity to lock in the lowest price ever. The price will not change for existing subscribers.

About richardhandel

I would like to give a brief snap shot of my life and introduce myself; My name is Richard Handel and was born in 1965 in Suffolk. I have worked as a UK Operation & Intermodule Manager for a shipping company. I live in Hampshire now and am married with 2 young children, both girls so I am a bit outnumbered even the cat is a girl! I have been fishing since I was about 7 years old. I started on small local rivers in Suffolk, then moved onto gravel pits and then carp fishing. My personal best is a 39.08 mirror, over recent years I have started river fishing again, on the Hampshire Avon, this is a nice break from the carp lakes. My life has turned a big corner this year, the company I was working for relocated their Operation centre to Estonia. I was offered a job at the head office in London. This would have meant a 5 day commute and working in Stratford. As a family, we did not fancy this, as I would hardly spend any time with the children (and the Mrs). So after 22.5 years, I was given a nice redundancy package and with my wife is working full time. I became the house husband. This has meant a complete turn around in my fishing, as I can pick and choose when I go. I have found a splendid new syndicate to fish this year, which includes 5 lakes and some 8 miles of river with only 150 members. It's an amazing change to the way I am able to fish. I am now trying to start my own tackle business and make a bit of a name for myself in the world of fishing, as I have retired from real work. Richard
